Packaging Design
Coca-Cola Zero, through its content vertical Music Zero, sponsors a unique event: the first music concert in Antarctica featuring Metallica. One of the key communication elements for this concert was a special collection of soda cans. We designed this limited edition packaging for them, which had to convey the spectacular and exclusive nature of this unrepeatable concert.
A historic event like the one set to take place in Antarctica with the performance of the rock band Metallica required an equally important communication strategy across various media. However, the most significant and widespread platform to promote it was the Coca-Cola Zero can itself. We developed a special edition packaging for them.
Coca-Cola Zero is a brand that always takes risks, challenging the limits of what’s possible.
The main challenge was to encapsulate the enormity and impact of this event in a packaging design while preserving the values and aesthetics of the brand.
We chose the most representative elements of the event (the ship that would transport attendees and the speaker system that would unleash the full power of Metallica) and created vector illustrations in monochrome to effectively communicate the concert’s mood. Everything was set against the Antarctic backdrop to convey the unique feeling of a never-before-seen concert.
